Python:
Highly Proficient, Certification Received, 3+ years experience
During COVID-19 while working 40+ hours/week for Rolls-Royce and a full-time student, I took it upon myself to receive a certification in Python Automation. From there I was specifically selected within Rolls-Royce Co-op group to use Python programming on Jupyter Notebook and Visual Studio Code while working for Rolls-Royce to develop a Machine Learning (ML) tool that would predict aircraft engine failures before they happen based on pressure, temperature, environment, gradients, etc. Once ML developed, deployed the tool to be accessible to all engine programs across company.
MatLab:
Highly Proficient, 6+ years experience
Developed MatLab skills from daily calculations to developing a GUI interface used my entire team that manipulates complex fluid/thermodynamic concepts to an input/output calculator with interpolation and extrapolation capabilities. I have also used MatLab as a filtering tool and a Machine Learning tool in my free time to further understand the software capabilities.
Simulink:
Proficient, 2+ years experience
Simulink - Primary use has been through electro-mechanical projects while a research assistant at Ohio State, but also utilized Simulink when investigating MBSE practices with Rolls-Royce and integrating System Engineering into a model based format.
VBA:
Proficient, 2+ years experience
During my time at Rolls-Royce, I developed a excel GUI and VBA tool which compiled 20+ years of flight data into a filtered GUI interface which allowed us to analysis aircraft engine performance and readily export the findings to our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul team to instruct them when to conduct further repairs.
MS SQL:
Proficient, 2+ years experience
At Rolls-Royce on the System Design Integration team I developed an automated inside-out msSQL tool that would compile the latest flight data from the day prior and export them to a csv file that allowed all necessary stakeholders to access the data based on daily events. I also had my manager go on maternity leave, so I was responsible for troubleshooting and finishing her 1000 lines of msSQL code until ready for use.

Fusion 360:
Intermediate, 2+ years experience
Used with Catia for personal 3D printing projects at home.
REVIT AND AUTOCAD - BIM
Proficient, 1-year experience
Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD BIM as I was the lead mechanical designer for a project with a $500,000 budget. During this project I lead the design of the mechanical systems of corporate buildings while also interacting with electric engineers, the customers, and outside contractors.
ABAQUS, FEA:
Highly Proficient, 3+ years experience and 1-year as ABAQUS teaching assistant
Became highly proficient in Finite Element Analysis while I was performing research for Ford Automotive and Ohio State University. The fold of my research was to quantify a friction parameter for Ford which would better allow their NASCAR teams to navigate the track. During my research I performed 2D and 3D analysis simulations on different road surfaces to develop a correlation between the contact area between the tire and road and the yield strain energy. My results proved to be invaluable as we were able to identify 25% contact area percentage. While we were previously looking at contact area between 5-90%, my findings reduced the window to 23-27% thus creating more accurate and result producing data.
I later became so proficient in ABAQUS that I was asked to become the graduate teaching assistant while I was still a sophomore in college as well as when I later took the class senior year.
ANSYS, FEA:
Highly Proficient, 2+ years experience
Transitioned ABAQUS technical experience to ANSYS senior year due to being more common in the industry. Duplicated my ABAQUS research findings to validate skills in ANSYS.
Fluent, CFD:
Intermediate, 1-year experience
Utilized CFD while an aerothermodynamics research assistant in the Ohio State lab. Used CFD to verify on site experiments when investigating turbine deposition, flow control, and film cooling on standard metals, alloys, and advanced Ceramics Matrix Composits (CMCs).
Aft Arrow:
Highly Proficient, 2+ years experience
Pressure and flow distribution for simple transfer lines and 100 component complex systems in a dyamic enviroment to calculate system unknowns. Used on regular basis to verify hand calculations and downstream impacts to system if one change is made.
TRACE 700:
Intermediate, 1-year experience
Design and analysis software tool used for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) engineering when designing HVAC systems and determining flow requirements.

Intermediate, 1-year experience
Engine model development using NPSS for visualization and interrogation to understand and analyze thermodynamic enviroments.
Cameo, MBSE:
Highly Proficient, 2+ years experience, SysML MBSE-Certified
While working as a Systems Design Integration (SDI) Engineer for Rolls-Royce I developed and assigned product requirements for Army, Future Vertical Lift aircrafts using Cameo MBSE software. Established subsystem sctructure and SIMULINK relationships for first time in company MBE history as well as defining Failure Mode & Critical Analysis, and product transportation when working with army and airframer customer.
